Vegan Shoes

Vegan Shoes are obviously shoes that are made without using any animal skins or byproducts and without any animals being harmed in any way during the manufacturing process. We source our vegan shoes, boots, sneakers and sandals from renowned vegan shoe makers and have thoroughly checked out the materials and production methods they use.

The synthetic materials used to make these shoes have evolved over the last decade or so to become extremely durable and comfortable, providing water-resistance, breathability, flexibility and good looks. The inner linings are traditional woven fabrics that are used in the manufacture of many types of shoe. The shoe uppers are made from microfibre material such as polyurethane, the outer-soles from rubber and the inner soles from a cork-like cellulose material.

Vegan Boots are currently our most popular style of shoe. Like all our vegan shoes, our boots adhere to all vegan principles but don’t hold back on the style front. Go boots!

Vegan Shoes Australia

While we sell our shoes to purchasers all over the globe, our vegetarian shoes are all made in Australia and, where possible, the component materials are sourced from Australian suppliers. We can control the quality of the end product best if we manufacturer locally and we are committed to supporting Australian workers and the Australian economy where possible. We don’t have any retail outlets at this point but hope to be running pop-ups stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth over the coming months.

Buying Shoes Online

We have been selling our shoes online for many years now. Our experience is that less than 15% of new customers need to swap their first purchase. To be sure, we can provide you with instructions on how to measure your feet for length, width and arch height.

Once a customer knows the size that fits best they can confidently purchase over the internet because our sizes don’t change. When you buy shoes online you obviously don’t need to drive to a shop, find a park and so on. Spend the time you have saved by doing something nice for yourself!

We are also introducing a personalised size matching service whereby we will work out your exact size and then use this size for every new pair of shoes you purchase from us. Your exact size will be unique to your feet, not one of our standard sizes. For example, your left foot may be a 7 3/4 size and your right foot a 7 7/8 size. Totally unique sizes, but from then on all the shoes you order will be made to those sizes.

Being Vegan

We don’t need to talk about the issues we see with the way animals are treated. You have surely seen enough and done your own homework. What we do want to say is that we are just extremely happy to be able to provide great quality footwear that looks as good and lasts as well as traditional footwear, without having to bother one animal along the way. One small step, but a marathon is just lots and lots of small steps.

The other thing that pleases us greatly is the reduced impact on the environment. The cost to future generations of the waste created by the tanning process alone makes leather shoes something we just don’t want to see on the planet. Making vegan shoes still impacts the environment but significantly less and we hope one day this can move down to zero impact.
